Deploy with custom software (without VS)

Hi

I searched the forum, didn't find anything similar.

 

I am working on few prototype (small capacity) projects.

the ND2 card is mobile, and connected to different hardware environment every day. I need to flash (deploy) it almost every day, since it use different hardware abilities each time (and different shields)

 

is it possible to create/export/compile some kind of "BIN" file for every version of ND software, and deploy it through my own C# software, without using the VISUAL STUDIO ?

Compatibility with MFUpdate has been asked about a few times but the last response was Sept 2014 and that was a negative.

 

There is something in the Mono section of the forums about deploying from an SD card but I don't know of anyone who has tried this.

After sleeping on this overnight I remembered that the Mono work is old and probably applies to the Atmel processors in the original Netduino boards and not the latest STM32 boards.

Those methods requires SD card. since we already have few boards without SD card (basic version), it is not relevant for me.

You can always modify the code to load the Assembly form an embedded resource.
