Thanks Chris. So does it mean we should be able to read/write SDHC (32GB/FAT32) with 4.2.2.2? I did read through the release notes on CodePlex but didn't find a definitive answer.

BMW #192Posted 19 November 2014 - 08:28 PM I have a question. I purchased one based on this thread. I really need to get in to that ARM processor and code. what are the projects, all Microsoft Micro Framework? IS there a way to JTAG in and use a Linux distro and if so which one? I do not know how much Microsoft charges for distributing if at all.
Also how hard is it to duck tape a Wireless connection and or a GSM to it? I want to send and get requests to this device through a web service. I am curious if I would have to do a REST implementation.
This is my first project with netduino board and eventually would have to fold all this into a product and use this as reference design. How hard is that guys and what resources could I use? I do not have a free CAD package to add in to this design what I need for merging other circuits or a layout tool that I could create the netlist for having this created for me. I also will need to manufacture in quantity.
Thanks
-Peter
#193Posted 19 November 2014 - 08:46 PM I am interested in adding a GSM and/or a wireless module to this or integrate the circuits in to one design. Has anyone done this?

My device is dead trying to move to 4.3.1, i may need to reflash the bootstrap and i am having lots of problems.
Can someone post links to everything to set this up from bare metal? I need an app that can query a webpage and send secure post data back to the server based on what it got from my ashx or aspx pages. Also any examples of this? I need to talk blue tooth to this netduino plus 2. To send tell it What to do and get info through bluetooth. Any help or resources on or for this? I need this thing up and running asap. Thanks guys!!! #195Posted 25 December 2014 - 06:15 PM
Hi EagleSparrow,
Let's get you back up and running first... [Then take a look at the NETMF SocketClient and HTTP Client samples to start working with HTTP, etc.] On reflashing: put your board in bootloader mode (by pressing the pushbutton while powering your board up via your computer's USB port). Then run NetduinoUpdate.exe (which comes with the firmware you're targeting) and reflash your board. This will automatically reflash the bootloader and firmware and erase the code deployment area simultaneously. After doing this, run MFDeploy and go to "target > configuration > network config" menu option and re-enter your board's MAC address. That should get you back to factory conditions. Does that help get you pointed in the right direction? Welcome to the Netduino community, Chris #196Posted 26 December 2014 - 07:54 PM
Ok. I got it running. Now I have to add the socket code to it and try it. I Thanks -Peter 0 user(s) are reading this topic0 members, 0 guests, 0 anonymous users | ||||||||||||||
