Well, the world is moving on, VS2012 is mainstream and 2013 is now released. With 10 months of no development and hardly any attention at all I'm beginning to feel I've bought the wrong device and I regret it. A shame, it wasn't that cheap at all although it definitely has it good points. But without updates for almost a year now it's beginning to really really suck.

Why don't you release a beta 2 with the latest .net 4.3 and new iwp stack?

Seems like N2/N2+ are not getting a lot of attention anymore.

I'm getting quite frustrated as well: because the board is unstable due to networking issues I can't use it all. This has been going on for more than half a year now, I paid 60 euro for a device that is sitting in the drawer.

Just give us a second version of the beta and do a RTM when the new 4.3 framework is out?

Hi neographikal, richy759: The RTM release of the 4.3 firmware is slated to include the much newer lwIP networking stack, which fixes quite a few networking bugs. We're just waiting on .NET MF 4.3 QFE1 at this point, and are looking forward to integrating this new stack. Chris

This is really annoying, can't get the whole thing stable.

This is still bugging me like hell, I can't get my solar power monitor stable. After a failed request (no result code from the webclient) to cosm the whole thing just crashes.

Has there been any progress fixing this? I'm afraid I'm having the same problems.

I haven't done this, so no clue how you can do it ON the netduino. Another option is to use a bridge, create a asp.net website that gets the requests from the Netduino and forwards it along with the authentication. Would that be an solution?

Hi Casmer,You should be able to step through code in 4.3. It looks like the debugger is just having troubles connecting. Which board are you using? What version of the SDK do you have installed? What version of firmware are you running on the board? Chris

Could this also be the problem when the UI in VS2012Ultimate is extremely unresponsive during debugging? I'm using the 4.3 SDK/beta 1 firmware on a Plus2
