You may be experiencing this bug : Socket.Connect() is broken in RC3
Did you try the .NETMF 4.2 RC1 ?

Socket.Connect is broken in RC3 (at least for TCP)

Okay, like nothing is working with this RC3 ... even Socket.Connect is now broken ... Seriously, how many people are working on this, one or what ? Could you upload the RC1 firmware somewhere ? (why do you replace the post with the RC3 !?)

Got the same problem here with the 4.2RC1, a power cycle of the interface is required before every deploy.
