There is a compete managed code (C#) implementation of SQLite3. Current ported version is 3.7.7.1. More details on: http://code.google.c.../csharp-sqlite/
It might require additional porting to .NET MF, but I think it was already ported to .NET CF. And the next thing is the size of the code and memory footprint. You might need to optimize it or drop some features.
I am looking for the same thing, to have small database on .NET MF, but I haven't yet tried to compile the code. Or we could design some very limited database solution, SQL or NoSQL.

I think I saw something similar, but it larger scale in Zurcih HB station made by ETH Zurich students. If I remember correctly it's called 'Super Nova', it's a full cube, but it's huge. It has colors and and there is transperant touch panel to control it. You can even watch movie clips on that thing!
Nice to see this LED Cube! Keep us posted

I second that. I would like to see this and 50% more RAM added to 4.2 Beta 2. They both are quite significant changes for me.It Works! That's awesome! Chris, can these changes get into a Beta firmware so others like myself can test it?
