Sorry, maybe I should have clarified that because of the larger size of the binaries when using GCC, there is very little RAM and ROM left over for writing apps (not to mention being slower). This is really more to do with using the .Net framework as it takes up most of the space. If you have to use GCC then you might have more luck forgetting about .Net and coding in native C.

Hi kev1n, sorry wish I could help you but I gave up on GCC due to the size of the compiled binaries. I'm using Keil at the moment.
