In Topic: Netduino+ and Wifi

27 August 2012 - 12:53 PM

The primary goal is "client". I have some ideas about gadgets that invoke internet services and read/write, tipically using REST (so few data).
Anyway, in the future I can be interested also for a server implementation.
What kind of limitations do you refer ? using for example XBEE module ?
thanks
Roberto

I have got only one wifi solution working, but with some limitations. So I wonder;
what kind of data are you going to transfer? As a server or client?

In Topic: PWN classes after 4.2 firmware upgrade

23 August 2012 - 12:58 AM

Many thanks to Stefan and Chris. I re-installed the 4.2.1.0 SDK and followed the suggestions. It works like a charm!

Thank you again for the quick response.
ciao
Roberto

Hi Roberta,

No worries. This is most likely a mismatch between the beta SDK and the production firmware for NETMF 4.2.

With .NET MF 4.2, you'll need to add the following assembly as a reference to your project:
SecretLabs.NET.Hardware.PWM.dll

Once you do this, update to the Netduino 4.2.0.1 SDK...and you should be good to go!
