In Topic: Disable plus network

Hi Joschua,

If you erase your Netduino Plus and reflash it with the "regular" Netduino firmware, it'll disable the networking and SD card.

The upcoming v4.1.1 beta will let you use the SD card on your Netduino Plus, but for now you'll need to use the Netduino Plus firmware instead.

Chris

Hi Chris

Thanks for your answer. I flased the NetduinoPlus with the Netduino v4.1.1.0 a7 FW. So I have to wait for the a8 version ?

Hi Stephen,

If you erase your Netduino Plus and reflash it with the "regular" Netduino firmware, it'll disable the networking and SD card.

If you do this, be sure to flash both the TinyBooter bootloader and the .NET MF runtime (TinyCLR).

Chris

Hi Chris

After a reflash with the "regular" netduino FW, I try to use the sd card with the
StorageDevice.MountSD("SD", Microsoft.SPOT.Hardware.SPI.SPI_module.SPI2, (Cpu.Pin)49);
.
Unfortunately this wouldn't work.

Have you any idea to use the built in SD card ?

J.

In Topic: Full-featured driver / test code for the Maxim DS1307 real-time clock

Hi Fabien Did you test the DS1307 code with the netduino plus ? Unfortunately, my device is not able to communicate with the DS1307. I'm sure, the issue is not the code, because I can't see any activity on the 4+5 pin of the netduino-plus with a logic analyzer. So I'm not sure, the I2C works with the netduino-plus well. I'm using the folloing firmeware: HalSystemInfo.halVersion: 4.1.2821.0 HalSystemInfo.halVendorInfo: Netduino Plus (v4.1.1.0 a6) by Secret Labs LLC Regards Joschua

Hi Illishar Thanks for your answer. I'm currently using gcc 4.2 and it works. I will spend more time later to figure out my issue. Regards Josch
