Hardware Ladder Game
30 July 2012 - 07:14 AM
I saw this game over at the Raspberry Pi blog a couple weeks ago and have been meaning to try making it on the Netduino.

I've got 10 LEDs lined up and wired into the digital outputs, and im using the onboard button as an interrupt port. Making the LEDS blink and increment up the ladder when the button is pressed is easy enough, however once pressed when the LED is true you can run up the whole ladder.
How do i make it work like the one in the link? Do i need to use multithreading or a timer or something?
Thanks,
Voltmeter for measuring millivolts
26 April 2012 - 12:16 PM
Hi,
I need some advice for using my netduino to measure the voltage from a analog output between 0 and 150 millivolts (very small voltage!) Is it possible to do this and how can it be done?
Basic electronics is not one of my strong points so appreciate a bit of explanation!
Thanks,
LED 8x8 matrix wiring
03 March 2012 - 03:56 PM
Hi, I recently got hold of one of these 8 x 8 LED matrix displays. I connected the wires exactly the same as in the page in this link.

However none of the LEDs are lighting up. The instructions say, but the diagram does not show any wiring of the GND or 3.3 or 5V pins on the netduino. Then how do they get the LEDs to light up?

To light an LED connect it's rows anode
to +5volts, and through a resistor, it's columns cathode to ground
7-segment hack
26 February 2012 - 04:19 PM
Hi, I pulled this 2 digit 7 segment display from an old thingy I had laying around.
It has 9 wires coming out to a connector that ive wired up to a breadboard. This confused me a bit because there are more than 9 segments, 14 in fact, plus 2 dots that presumably can light up as well.
The back side image shows the wiring configuration.
Any idea how I can use this display and all the segments?

RTC on Adafruit Data Logging Shield
19 February 2012 - 01:52 PM
Hi,
I have the Adafruit data logging shield on my netduino. The SD card works fine and I would also like to use the real time clock feature.
How do i use this?
Thanks,
