Netduino2 and Grove RGB LEDStrip driver problem

14 December 2013 - 04:19 PM

Hi guys,

My plan is to control a RGB LED strip ovre bluetooth using the netduione. So far I got it managed to connect the grove Bluetooth shield and with it to control 3 LED using PWM in the digital outputs 9,10 and 11.

My problem right now is that I wanted to use the grove RGB Led Strip controller (http://www.seeedstud...ED_Strip_Driver). As stated it is fully compatible like the groves RGB LED it worked thru this tutorial: http://blog.timmatti...inable-rgb-led/

But I did not get in managed to work. First I checked the mentioned Adruino driver you can download and it seems that it is the same protocol as the RGB Led. So what I tried than was to build some delay between the transmission of the bits. After still not wirking I added some bigger delays and Connected LEDs to the 2 pins from the Netduino and watch if the transmission is corret. And it was, but no reaction form the Stripdriver. I changed also the clock and data wire. I also switched the Pins on the Netduino (from SCL and SDA to 6 and 7)

So I'm now and the end of my ideas. First wuestion would be, if it is right, that I connect it to the 3.3v (I tried also 5V but didn't help).

So does anyone has an idea? maybe someone use this one and get it working?

cheers
