Hmm post didn't go through.  Luckily I coppied and pasted before post.

I recently bought a Netduino Go along with the book Getting Started with Netduino.  I've been struggling with the first few projects.

In the first progam to get the onboard LED to flash I had to change

OutputPort led = new OutputPort(Pins.ONBOARD_LED, false)

to

OutputPort led = new OutputPort(Pins.PowerLed, false)

Now I'm stuck on the second project trying to get onboard button to work.  Do I need to change

InputPort button = new InputPort(Pins.ONBOARD_SW1, false, Port.ResistorMode.Disabled

to something else?  Don't have my laptop infront of me but I tried Pins.ONBOARD_BTN and a few others but the button.Read() always returns false.

I'm hoping after I get past the onboard stuff that I won't run into any more issues but are there any other differences between the Netduino code in that book that I should be aware of when using Netduino GO?

Hi DuinoDan, ONBOARD_SW1 is the old designation for the button, from Netduino gen1 days. Go ahead and switch it to Pins.ONBOARD_BTN and it should work. Activating that button in code should also disable the board's reset feature, changing the button into an InputPort/InterruptPort/OutputPort instead. If you plug in a Shield Base to your Netduino Go, the code samples in the book should pretty much work as-is. Your Netduino Go will automatically use the Shield Base's IO the same way that it would use the IO on a regular Netduino. Welcome to the Netduino community, Chris

Is there a tutorial for Netduino GO?
