Bit of a newbie question again.

I'm outputting the result of Debug.GC occasionally.

I'm running a plain Netduino 2 (which allegedly has 60K of RAM according to the tech specs on the site) but Debug.GC reports around 71000 bytes with my current (medium sized) application running  :huh:

Is there something blatantly obvious that I'm missing?  :huh:

Thanks, Dennis

I think that 60k is a conservative estimate.  The device itself has 128k ram, with some of that consumed by CLR.

This minimal program:

namespace Nada{	public class Program	{		public static void Main()		{			Debug.Print(Debug.GC(true).ToString());		}	}}

will emit:

(and can wiggle around that number run-to-run, but more-or-less the same value)

Oooh... makes sense. Thanks for clarifying :)
