Ok I have done a ton of research and it is time to start my project.

The controller will be based on the NetDuino Go board and the project will start off very basic with a temperature sensor for display tank and sump temperature sensor.

Temperature sensor will be: https://www.sparkfun.../products/11050

Future plans:

Ph sensor from Atlas-Scientific: http://www.atlas-sci...its/ph-kit.html

Light Controller for LED lighting system.

I am looking for some feed back on the Temperature sensor.

If I hook that directly to the shield base module should I use some type of breakout board? Meaning use a three prong connector instead of hooking it directly to the shield base board?

I will take some screen shots of the GUI I am creating.

Do you know any free gauge controls that I can use?

Using the Agauge controls I created this GUI.

Took some of my lunch time and dialed in the graphics better.

I like what you got so far.  I would recommend changing the scale a bit for your dials (ph range from 7-9 and temp from 60-90 would give you a more accurate display that would be easier to read).  you could also throw up a digital readout next to or below each dial.  this would give you a better at-a-glance appeal.

Yes I think I will create a digital read out, however if I go that route then the gauges are not required.

I am going to make another mock up with digital and see which I like.

Good work guys, I would be interested to know how you are passing your values to your web server and storing them? I take it you are using a web server?

Many thanks,

Andy

Waiting for the Temp Sensors.
