Hello,
I am very basic user and have little Electronic background. I am C# developer , I had done some PIC based projects using C, This board seems to be very appealing to me and wanted to check if I port one of my earlier Project to this board, will I be able to load the code to the Microcontroller and use just the controller to actual application board with out Netduino ?
I presume this to be a development board ? Any pointers on how do I do this will be very helpful.
Basic Question - Can I use Netdudino to build something and Isolate

Hi.
Netduino is production hardware, as well as it is good for prototyping.
If you wan't to make an independent board, you can take the *.brd files, change the layout to what you need, and then send it to production.
There is a Netduino Mini, which is a way more compact board than the regular Netduino.
However, if you manage to design your own board from scratch, ie using a STM32F mcu as on the Netduino Plus 2 and Netduino Go, you should be able to use a modified firmware and get .NET MF running on the board.
To sum up, it is possible, but you have to know your datasheets, electronics and requires a chip that is beeing supported by the .NET MF.

Nicky pretty much summed it up. The Netduino is a production ready board as well as a great environment for prototyping. You can design your own Netduino type board as the hardware / software is open source and the schematics are available but it is unlikely you will be able to product a Netduino any cheaper than what they are sold for.
Depending on the type of Netduino you are using (Standard, Plus, Plus 2, GO) you can design a shield, GO Module or basically whatever you need for your project and use a Netduino as your core.
