Netduino and OS X / VMware Fusion

Hi, I got my Netduino today and immediately connected it up. As my PC is broken I connected it to my Mac and started Windows in VMware Fusion [2008 R2 in Fusion 3.1], and connected the netduino- it worked via USB! Thought I'd post it because the tech specs page says that only serial deployment works. Anyway, very pleased so far [even though I've not done a lot :) ]. Regards, neonsonicboy

Hi neonsonicboy, Welcome to the Netduino community! I'm glad that your Netduino is working well under VMWare. Just FYI, we just posted updated firmware (beta) which resolves an issue that was affecting some users of VMWare and USB. Basically, Visual Studio had trouble resetting the Netduino completely during re-deployment of an app. This update should resolve most/all of that issue as well. http://forums.netdui...pdate-6-beta-1/ Chris
