Hi Guys,

Do you guys know if this MUX Shield will work with the Netduino Plus.

I mean physically.

And does anyone know if there is a library for this guy?

There's no schematic of this module, but I think there's also not so much to discover. There are three '4067, which are 16-to-1 analog de/multiplexers. Hence the 48-I/O claimed.
Note that the '4067 is an *analog* logic gate, so that you can use the I/Os for any voltage between zero and its Vdd. However, being the Netduino limited to +3.3V on the analogs, you must take care of that.

Library?
I think even a chimp could write it: there are 4 lines, that are used to select one of the 16 possible channels. Since all of the '4067 all driven at same time, the binary pattern will select the channel for all three.

Bear in mind that you will share three Netduino I/Os for the multiplexer commons. So, although the web page shouts about 48 I/O of any kind, you'll able to use this expandability in a limited way only.
I mean that, for instance, you cannot have 48 outputs, because the '4067 is just a passive "selector" without any storage. All the board is multiplexed, so that you must keep in consideration that.

IMHO, it's a pretty nice module, and if the price is reasonable, it worth the purchase.
Cheers
Biggest fault of Netduino? It runs by electricity.

You can lead a chimp to software, but you can't make it write a driver.

Galibore,

I have not tried that multilexor, but I did buy and put together one that was made by a forum member to work with the Netduino and he has code also. 32 IO multiplexor

I think that I paid $20 for it and it came with the chips and hardware. It works with Stefan's NetMFToolbox which is another plus.

I checked that it worked but haven't got around to playing with it futher.
