AFAIK win 8 uses an entirely different USB model to previous windows versions, the netmf team are currently rewriting the USB stack to use WinUSB instead of the propriety driver for netmf devices. Which should give it win 8 support as well as (hopefully) fixing the known USB deployment issues.
Nak.

I'm currently using Windows 8 RP and nothing is getting wrong for developing, deploying and testing. Have you in mind any particular need?

Ok, then I may have to install Win 7 on a VM for now. Thanks.
BTW, I don't like Windows 8. How do you find installed programs? When installing the .NET MF SDK you know you would get Start>Programs>Microsoft .NET MF>MFDeploy. Yeah, where did they move that in Windows 8?

I think it may be a problem with the IDE you're using. I'm using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate in Windows 8, and have no problems recognizing or debugging my Netduino+. Haven't used MFDeploy yet, as I'm still building and debugging code.
