I would please like to know the maximum output current of the Netduino plus and would it be possible to control a 5V relay with the netduino?
Hi Rudolph and welcome to the Netduino community!
The maximum output current is 8mA per pin at 3.3V. See also: http://www.netduino....oplus/specs.htm
For a 5V relay, that's not enough. But you could connect an NPN transistor to the output pin, and drive the relay with that transistor. That way, you can switch 5V.
