I just finished porting the .NET Gadgeteer code to both the Netduino Classic/Plus and to the new Netduino GO. Initial loopback tests all work fine.

All drivers are in the source tree on my codeplex site here:
http://petebrown.cod...list/changesets

I'll zip them up or create an MSI or something once I've done a little more testing. You can see the MIDI module with both the Netduino Plus and Netduino GO here:
http://petebrown.cod...tle=MIDI Module

You can order a MIDI module (kit or assembled) using the instructions here:
http://10rem.net/blo...ly-instructions

I'll eventually have a native GO!bus version, but that's going to take a bit.

Very cool, Pete. With pin compatibility for Gadgeteer S, U, and X module types...it looks like you were able to just plug in your Gadgeteer Midi module. Sweet. Thanks for testing this! We'll have to add your Midi module to our upcoming "compatible Gadgeteer modules" list and drivers. BTW, if you want we can create a simple wrapper for your Gadgeteer Midi module which takes a socket #, switches that go!bus channel to exclusive mode, and turns on the LED :) Chris

Thanks. To be clear, the driver is different. I shared almost all the code, but Gadgeteer uses a higher-level Serial class, not the base NETMF one. So any serial interface code had to change slightly. The driver I'm using on the GO here is almost identical to the one I wrote for the Netduino/Netduino Plus. I can't imaging using an actual Gadgeteer driver, as they're pretty huge when you look at the dependencies and deployment size.

I'd love to do this myself. Pointers on where to start looking?
