Been following this over the past few months - at $25 - $40 for a Linux computer on a credit card sized machine you just have to get one.some of you may find this interesting - again delete if this is not acceptable!! It's a very small, cheap computer!!

There's some more on the BBC web site and on Click they have it booted and connected to a TV.

According to the Wikipedia, the processor is Broadcom 2763 (ARM11 @ 700 MHz), with Hynix SDRAM mounted on top of it (PoP).Since they're promising 128MB of RAM (which is a heaven), the core should be an ARM9.

Mario, no problem. I also wonder if they can keep the advertised price. Although I was more interested in the USB stick-sized prototype (with camera), the current alpha board is not that compelling... (unless it really costs four times less than competition : -)I should have written: "the core should be *AT LEAST* an ARM9".
Anyway, the focus was on the price.
