I'm just starting to think about powering my projects from batteries.

I got this 2000mAh Polymer Lithium Ion Battery and this converter so I think I have the Netduino and sensors covered but I'm wondering about devices, such as motors, that require a bit more power.

I know there are a ton of options out there but I wanted to find out what people here are using and what works well.

Thanks in advance.

Note that shipping from their global store takes a long time if you use normal shipping, a week or a week and a half with upgraded shipping which is kind of pricey. There are some batteries available from the US store, I recently bought one from there, MUCH faster/cheaper. The items will indicate if they ship from the US warehouse.

Ditto. I have batteries from 300mah 3volt LiFePO4's. To 5700MaH 14.4 volt LiPo cells. Whatever you do use get a good charger, it saves in the long run.
