I just wanted to throw this out there: I'd been having issues with VS2015 throwing the "Unable to communicate with device - USB:Netduino" error with my N+2. In frustration, I switched from USB port to USB port. The first two were 3.0, and both gave the error. As soon as I connected to a 2.0 port, the issue resolved itself. It's possible that the communication rates on USB 3.0 may becausing issues. Thoughts?

Hi dmil4781,
Interesting. USB 3.0 ports are USB 2.0 ports with extra pins for the secondary (high-speed) USB 3.0 bus. That kind of behavior really shouldn't happen with USB devices. [There could be a glitch in the NETMF MFUSB drivers...something that we could report to Microsoft if it's a blocking issue.]
Are you alright using your 2.0 ports?
BTW, welcome to the Netduino community,
Chris

As soon as I switched ports, things worked fine.
