When Netduino Go launched, it packed a lot of power for an affordable $49.95.

We have been doing some optimizations (including efficiencies in the QA process) to get the cost down--while maintaining the same great quality as usual. We've pushed and pushed and I'm excited to announce...

Netduino Go has an awesome new price.
$34.95 MSRP (previously: $49.95)

We've temporarily put the Netduino Go Starter Kits on sale for $84.95 as well. Later this summer we will probably swap out the Shield Base and add in a few of the new spring/summer modules...at which point the starter kits will be back to their normal price of $99.95.

P.S. Netduino resellers can take advantage of the new lower prices--so worldwide prices should be adjusting to the new lower price fairly quickly.

Even though my LUG's hacking society insists its not a Microsoft friendly shop, they are constantly interested in what I do with my two Netduino devices, a Mini (bought first), and a Netduino type 1 (bought second).

How does one become a reseller?

?That is because of the "totally awesome" Netduino 3, but the reasonably lower price for the Go platform who's related to the N3, and the others of course.....

To be honest I'm not even sure how many boards (and starter kits) I would be able to sell to interested members, mostly because of the overhead in software, and even figuring out how in the <BLEEP!> I'd be able to make the requisites available for them. Those who are interested that is...... Signify that you understand me.

Hi Dr. Who,

We don't have a reseller program for makerspaces, but we can get you volume discounts on boards (10+ boards) through Amazon. We love makerspaces and would like to find a way to support you where we can.

Thanks for your enthusiasm and for belonging to our community,

Chris

The company doesn't? Then it is time one was started.

I would love to see some sort of mini-reseller-type program, perhaps something automated through an online store. Would an affiliate link also work for this kind of scenario--or would you actually want stock on hand?

An excellent question. For now an automated function would work. But eventually both, that is stock on hand, and a automated seller.

Then we need to decide on the merits of demonstrating everything. For myself I found both times at Maker Faire to be perfect. Oddly enough last time, the board was there, but the firm wasn't.
