A quick note on upgrading .NET Micro Framework 4.3 (beta) projects to 4.3 QFE1 (release)...
Summary
The new NETMF 4.3 QFE1 is a replacement for the earlier NETMF 4.3 (beta). Internally the new runtime is versioned as 4.3.1. Once you switch to the QFE1 release, you will need to upgrade any existing projects built on NETMF 4.3 (beta).
How to upgrade 4.3 (beta) projects to 4.3 QFE1 (release)
In project properties, simply change your target framework from .NET MF 4.3 to .NET MF 4.2...and then back to .NET MF 4.3.
Alternatively you can try "Build menu > Clean Solution" and then "Build menu > Build Solution".
In closing
We are super-excited to move .NET MF 4.3-based firmware into production. For those who built apps against 4.3 in beta, please retarget them to NETMF 4.3 QFE1 (as noted above). The new release is backwards-code-compatible, so no other changes should be required.
Please let us know your experiences with the new 4.3.1 firmware and VS2012/VS2013!
Chris
