Hi Russell,

We're not bundling a stylus with the touchscreen to keep cost down as much as possible: we figured that most people would already have a left-over Nintendo DS stylus or similar solution ;-) But we could carry styli as an option on the site.

Thanks for bringing this up!

Cheers,
-Fabien.

Thanks for the response, I'm sure I have a stylus around somewhere from an old windows phone 6 device. My original gameboy didn't have a stylus unfortunately. :P

I recently updated my Netduino Go's firmware to 4.3.2 (b1).  Now it appears that my nwazet Relay isn't working anymore.  I don't have the exception in front of me, but it looked like naming of GoPort/GoSocket base classes that the Relay drivers implemented have changed.

Is this a known issue?

Hi pdii,

I believe that the latest drivers for the Nwazet hardware are for .NET MF 4.2.  If you have access to the driver source, we are more than happy to walk you through the kinds of changes you'd need to make to the source to update them to .NET MF 4.3.

One more note: the Nwazet modules were pretty cool Netduino Go accessories, but they are unlikely to receive firmware updates to support GoBus 1.5 (required for GoBus compliance).  We can help you get set up and running with the 4.3.2 firmware in parallel with GoBus 1.0 modules--but things may be a bit more tricky in the future with non-upgraded modules.

Thanks neslekkim, I did find that source code when I was looking into this late last week.

I'm a bit concerned that the Relay module might not be supported going forward (GoBus 1.5+).  I bought the Go and the Relay a while ago and have been looking forward to the upcoming Ethernet & Temp/Humidity modules so that I could work on a home automation project (controlling gable fans based on temp & humidity).

Are there plans for updated Relay modules that will work on the Go in conjunction with the Ethernet and Temp/Humidity modules?

Thanks!

We're working on a few options for backwards compatibility with discontinued third-party accessories (i.e. not GoBus 1.5 compliant modules). It may require a low-cost adapter board, but there will be options. Netduino is compatible with and adaptable to work with a really wide variety of gear.
