Hi there !

I've been looking all around the forum to find a solution but nothing worked...
My case : While deploying my solution on the N+ (using VS 2010), I got an error which has said that it was not able to contact the card. After that, I wasn't able to make my card recognized by my OS (Windows 7 x64)

I tried to perform the "push button while connecting the card"'s thing but nothing happened.
Then I tried to perform a full erase (connecting the 3.3V to the little square under digital pin 0) but nothing changed, I still can't see my card on Windows (I only saw the "USB unknown" the first time then nothing)

So, when I plug my card using the USB connector I have :
  • PWR led: ON
  • LED led (under digital pin 1 & 2): ON
  • Nothing on Windows

Does anybody has an idea ?

Best,
--Fabien

Hi Fabien, If both the power and LED lights are on, it's stuck in a bootloader mode. It sounds like it has now been erased. Grab a copy of Atmel SAM-BA v2.11, and reflash the bootloader. Then deploy the NETMF runtime from MFDeploy...and you should be all set. Chris

Hello, I today have the same problem, but the Atmel chip is getting very hot and there is no signal of the N+ on the PC and the SAM-BA v2.11 doesn't see a com port. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!, Not4Now

If the Atmel chip is getting very hot, that's probably a sign that the microcontroller has failed. That's a pretty rare occurance, but it can happen if the chip is subjected to high voltages or heavy currents.

How old is your Netduino? What type of project were you building with it when it stopped working?

Hello Chris,
I was making a negative logic circuit with LEDs but all power was dreined from the Netduino plus to avoid high current or voltage and it doesnt need lots of power to work properly.

The circuit is made with 6 transistors npn and 6 LEDs, just that.

If the microcontroller has fail, it can be repaired?

Thanks for replying,
