Work in progress...no sources yet! The very first demo of a Netduino Plus 2 connected to a FTDI EVE Board with a 5" TFT Display. http://highfieldtales.wordpress.com/ http://cetdevelop.codeplex.com/ http://www.ftdichip.com/ More demo to come...

Pretty cool stuff, Mario! :) First...turns on/off the LEDs. Next...world domination. Should we worry? Chris

I wonder if the gameduino2 can be used?

Pretty easy to find. I didn't manage the purchase by myself, but I think it was taken here:

Also check the FTDI web site:

http://www.ftdichip.com/EVE.htm

Cheers

The graphics engine chip is the same, but I don't know what kind of display the Gameduino 2 uses. I believe that's smaller than the one I own because the cost.

The Gameduino 2 is targeted for game purposes, and it has to be programmed in C (C++?)

Here you can use a normal Netduino 2 (due the memory and speed req's), thus C#, and the target is toward "slow" rendering such as home-automation UI.

Hope it helps.

I bought one from mouser.com and plan to hook it up to a netduino plus 2.  Would love to look at your initialization code to begin talking to the display.
