Hi all,
Before giving up on this one and buying a Plus 2, I would like to know if I could salvage it.
First, my context: my Netduino Plus was performing perfectly, but mostly because of lack of time, I shelved it for a while. I am using Windows 8.
Lately I wanted to try a few things, so I downloaded the latest SAM-BA (v2.12 with patch), NetMF 4.1, FirmWare 4.1.0.6, erase the Netduino, Installed everything in the proper order, installed a little program from VS2010, everything perfect.
Then after 2 or 3 Netduino reboot (plug/unplug the USB), I got an error USB driver malfunctionning. Hum, OK? redid the whole shebang once again, worked again for a short time, then poof, same thing, USB driver error. The same cycle went on 6 or 7 times before I got really tired of this and decided to post here.
The only little thing I noticed is that SAM-BA preselect for me At91sam7x512-kf (I think, don't have it in front of me now), while I noted to select At91sam7x512-au with my previous version.
As that is the only thing I have not tried (go back to a previous version of SAM-BA), I wonder if that could be the reason?
It seems that, for whatever reason, after a few reboot I get "something" corrupt, as this has really to do with the Netduino itself and not the USB driver.
To be clear, once I do the whole cycle to re-flash, reset the Ip address, etc, it does works fine, just for a very short time!
Thanks for any idea that I could/should try.
Regards,
Bernard
