Sorry if this has been discussed before but ive searched for a solution for this and was unable to come with a answer.

I've got a project in VS and i want to deploy across various target boards but i want to pass this task to another member of the team but i dont wish for him to have the source code.

Is there a way of the deploying the output binaries to the target device i.e. MFDeploy.

Here is one of the recent threads: http://forums.netdui...udio#entry46421

Basically, you would use MFDeploy to create a copy of an existing board. This will output a .hex file that can then be uploaded to another netduino also using MFDeploy.

This is a pretty basic function that is core of the .NET Micro Framework and it's tools (like MFDeploy).  This is not specific to Netduino and is described in the documentation regarding NETMF and the tools.

Dave,

I see there is a download for just MFDeploy. Would like client to be able to update ND+2 without VS, MF42, and ND SDK installs. I think all i need is ND+2 drivers. Is there a package for just drivers. You know what fills would have to be packaged to do a manual ND driver install?

John

I got it working. I pulled MFDeploy and and dependencies out of MF42 install. I pulled the MFUSB drivers from the Netduino SDK install. You need the DN Framework 4.031**** for the MFDeploy to run.
