We've been trying to upload the full repo for about a year, but CodePlex (using Hg) crashes on large uploads. One of our community members (nakchak) has built a new repo using Git and it seems to work well. Once we get through any required bugfixes for the new 4.2.1 release we'll be coordinating with Microsoft to switch the repo over. I'm really looking forward to it. Chris

No news on this? (Since v4.2.1 is well passed)

I appear to be having a similar running 4.2.2.1.

I put a Debug.Print before the initialization call and one after. The first one prints. The second one does not. The screen just flashes and clears then goes back to the logo. Was this issue ever resolved, or do I need to flash v 4.2.0?

Nevermind. Just saw the work-around later in the thread.

N'er mind.  Upgraded to 4.2.2.1 and the issue with VirtualCanvas is resolved....nothing to see here...carry on.

Slightly different issue here...

I am getting NotSupportedException on the call to VirtualCanvas.Initialize regardless of what frequency I pass in to the method

 e.g.

var canvas = new VirtualCanvas(null, null);

canvas.Initialize(GoSockets.Socket5, 5000);

SecretLabs.NETMF.Hardware.Netduino.NetduinoHardwareProvider::GetSpiPins
Microsoft.SPOT.Hardware.SPI::.ctor
Nwazet.Go.Imaging.VirtualCanvas::Initialize
Main.Program::Main

I just received the display, but the NGo! is a few months old and is on firmware version 4.2.0.0 (which I thought would work with the workaround to reduce the frequency or am I mistaken?)
