Reading the MSDN blog here:
http://blogs.msdn.co...sue-fixing.aspx
If I read this correct there is a chance legal holds back this release and we basically can waste our Go's
Seeing that is takes them more then 2 months and probably longer as we are still waiting I would like to know if there is any alternative for the Go.
The Data Acquisition module from Nwazet was able to run on one GO socket using SPI is this an option for the other modules as well?

Hi Olaf,
Do you have a Shield Base?
On that blog post...Microsoft legal can take a while. In the case of NETMF 4.3 QFE1 we've been waiting on the 4.3 release to sync with the NETMF team's schedule...but if it takes too much longer we'll just start the migration without QFE1. [QFE1 is needed for Netduino Plus 2...but not technically needed for Netduino Go.]

#64Posted 26 January 2014 - 08:15 PM Hi Chris,
Yes I have.
"QFE1 is needed for Netduino Plus 2...but not technically needed for Netduino Go."
This is an eye opener could we do anything to get this going?

Hey Olaf,
We have been trying to consolidate things, moving everything to NETMF 4.3 QFE1 at the same time.
I know that the NETMF team has a lot on their plate; if they need a bit more time to get QFE1 wrapped up, we can put together a Netduino Go 4.3 firmware release (based on 4.3 RTM) in a few weeks.

#66Posted 23 February 2014 - 10:40 PM Hi Chris,
any progress on the GO ?
Cheers Olaf Van SchOten Ict Diensten en Services #67Posted 25 February 2014 - 05:28 AM
Hi Olaf,
The core upgrade to .NET MF 4.3.1 is now done. We have posted firmware for Netduino 2 and Netduino Plus 2.
We have a build of Netduino Go firmware for 4.3.1 as well. Its integrated GoBus 1.5 libraries will be a pretty big upgrade and we need to do some testing first--but we'll get a beta program for Netduino Go 4.3.1 started in the March-May timeframe.

#68Posted 16 March 2014 - 03:51 PM Hi Chris,
any progress on the GO ? It is nearly the 6th of April se we need something to have a party about.
Cheers Olaf Van SchOten Ict Diensten en Services #69Posted 22 March 2014 - 08:15 PM Chris any progress? I am slowly getting into trouble with my project without the hubs or multiple shield bases.

Hi Olaf,
The Netduino Go 4.3.1 firmware is a coordinated release with some new modules...it's a pretty big update, but it is coming soon. Chris #71Posted 02 May 2014 - 10:11 AM Hi Chris,
First quarter of the year is gone and I was expecting some news in last month ?
Any beta gear, or releases concerning the GO I missed ?
Best regards,
Olaf van Schoten Van SchOten Ict Diensten en Services #72Posted 04 June 2014 - 12:53 PM
Ding Dong any one home? is the GO already meeting the Hubs and Gadgeteer adapter ? As stated in the advert I read every time I get onto this site Van SchOten Ict Diensten en Services #73Posted 11 December 2014 - 06:01 AM Don't know if you know but this was one of the few things that turned Fabian off Secret Labs. He mentions you promised to create an Ethernet module for the GO. Also he doesn't like how the Agent watch is still not up for sale yet. I respect you but I'm asking you to do your best to get him back. Fabian Royer is a genius and his contributions made to the .NET MF were priceless!
Cheers Chris! #74Posted 16 December 2014 - 08:41 PM Many of us have complained about the definition of "Coming Soon" on this board. I still check in, but I'm certainly not buying anything or doing any development until there is an actual product. (I was a early adopter and I feel badly burned by the whole thing.) #75Posted 16 December 2014 - 08:53 PM
I'm not a real GO user but the fact that it ticked Fabien Royer off, it feels that the.net MF is not as powerful. I'd like to inherit skills so I can support peoples projects but we need promises fulfilled first.
