Has anyone been looking for the perfect enclosure to protect your latest Netduino project? Check out the rugged and beautifully designed duinoCase's that were demoed at the recent Maker Faire Bay Area. The cases are available for both the Netduino and Netduino Plus. I think I will be ordering one myself in the very near future! Hmm, perhaps some subtle hints for Father's Day may be in order.

According to the website:

The duinoCase-NP is designed to hold a standard Netduino Plus board, with openings for the power, USB, and Ethernet jacks. There is room for on additional shield on top of the Netduino Plus board.

The base is slotted for wall mounting. Includes stick-on rubber feet, and case and board mounting screws.

The enclosure is made from common 18 gauge cold rolled A366/1008 mild steel, with a PLT-40104 semi-gloss textured premiere blue coating. Dimensions of the enclosure are (approx.) 4.1″ L x 2.5″ W x 1.7″ H

And no, I don't work for duinoCase.com, I just like great products that are created for this community. Posted Image

Cheers,
Steve

I got one of these at Maker Faire, I've yet to use it, but I am definitely looking forward to it, the perfect enclosure for many a project!

Chris I actually saw the case in one of your Maker Faire pictures sitting beside Chris Walker. The company came up in my Twitter searches a little while ago and your tweet last night reminded me of them. Let me know what it's like as it does look pretty slick.

Thanks!
Steve

Hey! I'm glad to hear the kind words about the duinoCases! I wanted to say that we've got them out on Amazon now, and they are available and shipping! http://www.amazon.co...words=duinocase Please get me any feedback on them, and we look forward to evolving them forward, and supporting the Netduino community! Hey Scott, the cases look great. What options do you have for international shipping? Unfortunately Amazon doesn't ship to Canada.

Cheers,
Steve

For anyone interested ... I just tested the new Netduino Plus 2 in one of our duinoCase-NP metal cases ... and it fits perfectly! Wrap your Netduino or Netduino Plus (1 or 2) project in a quality metal case! On Amazon, or via our website ... http://www.duinoCases.com

Awesome! Do you already have resellers within Europe? I would love to play with one of those enclosures!

Hello,

I do not yet have a reseller in Europe. :-(

I've shipped some to Denmark and a few other places ... but that is all so far. I'm currently working to get them into the Maker Shed, but I'm not sure if that would help you or not.

I'm from the UK so I would enjoy a European reseller, however I would like to see something for a NetduinoGO! ;) Or, possibly stackable cases like stackable shields (or, for NGO) cases that have GoBus connectors either side of the case and connect the cases?? Full of ideas :D

Seriously, these are great and are a vital part for any Netduino projects so thank you. I think I can fit a Netduino Go + a few modules in a Netduino case, so I will probably be looking at purchasing some soon :)

Hello,

I have been looking at the Netduino Go, and trying to think of what type of a case configuration would be best for it. It seems that the base board is simple enough, but then how to handle the infinite possible combinations of add-on boards, and how to expose their controls or lights.

I'd love to get some feedback or sketches from you with your thoughts ... we're open to expanding our line of cases!
