Hi!

For one, I'm still new to the "hardware" side of things, but I was wondering if anybody could share some insight on the wiring and coding to use the Adafruit 7-segment LED Display with HT16K33 Backpack with my Netduino Plus 2.

I bought it to use with my Raspberry Pi 2, and it works great there with lots of tutorials that went along with it, but now I'm having trouble finding anybody that has posted about this particular part when using a Netduino.

I'm pretty sure I have the wiring done, although I'm still unsure if I need to add resistors to a 3.3v circuit going to the SCL and SDA on the backpack to keep them high.

Any pointing in the right direction would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

For the wiring I'd be connecting the ground on the N+2 to the driver board.

You are right about the SCL and SDA lines, these require a pull-up resistor.  For a single device on an I2C bus I'd normally start with a 4K2 resistor.

Have you written any I2C code using the microframework ?

Regards,

Mark

No, I think that's my biggest hurdle. The fact that this is my first I2C device I've used with the N+2.
