Hi Eugene, We weren't getting good enough performance with the GoBus 1.0 firmware we used at MakerFaire, so we've been working on moving the Gadgeteer Adapter module to GoBus 1.5 (which is performance-tuned). We'll post firmware here for our early hardware hackers as soon as there's matching firmware for Netduino Go as well. We're pretty excited about the new GoBus 1.5 gear. Thank you for your enthusiasm too! Chris

Hi beastyboy, No news by next week, but we'll have news for you this quarter. BTW...if you wanted to "hack" your Netduino Go by turning off GoBus, technically you could plug two of those into it (with no other modules plugged in), one on a port 1-4 and one on port 5-8...and then control it directly via GPIOs. That won't be possible with the 4.3 firmware--but that's a fun hack you can do with the current firmware. Chris

Hi Chris,

Hacking the Go is not an option as I require two shield base modules to be connected and 2 of the mentioned relay modules.

One of the shield base module is fitted with a Low Power Bluetooth shield and the other one is fitted with a GPS/GPRS module.

But none of this is going to work before the NGO gets MF 4.3 and Gadgeteer Adapter module support.

Cheers Olaf

ps: Let me know if I can do any testing for the GO.

Dear Chris,

Not going to be rude but again "Hi beastyboy, No news by next week, but we'll have news for you this quarter. BTW..""

Time you show us the goods.

Best regards,

Olaf van Schoten

Hey Olaf,

The Gadgeteer Adapter module is near the end of our queue for new GoBus gear. They are in stock, but production firmware won't be ready for a little while. We're getting a few of the STM8S-based modules out first.

Chris
