Hi I want to know if there are any camera modules that can work any netduino and that can interface with a computer. My requirement is to take photo's with the camera module and then send them to a computer to be stored and displayed. Any help is welcome. Thanks Rudolph Kalp

Hi Rudolph, The AdaFruit VC0706 Camera is supported by this framework I think: http://netduinohelpers.codeplex.com/ I haven't tested it myself, so I can't guarantee a thing, but I guess it will work just fine.

Adafruit is the hardware supplier. What do you want to download?
If you want to download the netduino driver for that camera, just follow the link in my first post, go to "Source code" and click "Download"

It's not my project, so I shouldn't defend it, but since it's made by a friend of mine, I still will do so

Calm down, it's all open source. All there is, is source code. So if you just head to the source code tab, you'll be fine. B)

I can confirm that these drivers work very well. Easy to use and bug free (so far ;) ) I trimmed them up a bit as I did not need all of the features written in the driver. Took me about a hour to get everything hooked up and running.

You must also have a ND with a SD card to use the drivers. That means either a ND+ or ND flashed to 4.2 and a SD shield of some kind. If you use the latter, you will have to add the mount and unmount commands to the driver.

Hope you enjoy; I know I did! :)

Maybe you could update the driver to send data out a serial port to some receiving system as it is read from the camera. You could get fancy and maybe perform a post to a waiting web server; assuming you have an Ethernet or wifi shield.
