Thought our UK visitors might find this interesting. There's a mini Maker Faire in Manchester at the end of July. It's going to be held at the Museum of Science and Industry.

regards,
Mark

That looks good! I might pay a visit to have a look around, but I think my solar power interface is probably not exciting enough to show off...

Hello Mark. If I hadn't so many things to do this year (read as "bills to pay"), I would have enjoyed a trip to the UK. I was in London once only, for a brief stop, during my honeymoon. A friend of mine, living in front my house, but grown in Cornwall, suggested to have a visit to the rest of the Great Britain. UK is pretty easy to reach, since I'm living very close to the airport. I really hope this Maker event will be a success, so it will be replicated the next year. By the way, when you assert that "be | !be = 0xFF"...where the h*ll did you declare "be" as byte??? Cheers PS: Take lot of pictures of the Faire!
Biggest fault of Netduino? It runs by electricity.

Hi Gorf, Thanks for sharing these, and for supporting the Mini MakerFaires. Cool to see this in Manchester (home of many of my ancestors). I liked the "dancing custard" ;) Actually, there are a lot of great ideas for projects in that video... Chris

Hello!
I quite agree. I am waiting for the for the one coming in two months, September 29-30. Incidentally Chris Atmel will be there as usual. Now last year I did see them there and spoke with them, turns out they were supporting the gang from the Maker Shed regarding the Arduino, rather then the Netduino, regarding your outfit.

I imagine the same will be true this year.....

Your ancestors are originally from that part of the UK? Very interesting......
