rx to tx and vice versa.. you than open putty and press escape.. than you select uart.

 

is you select rs232 you need an additional max232 ..

take care, the rs232 is 12 volts, do not damage your ftdi!

Hi Chris,

 

I have had excellent  success on the Netduino and Netduino plus devices

However, with Netduino Mini I have failed to even communicate with the device

In fact I tried with three different mini devices to rule out that the devices got/were damaged.

 

I guess it has to do something with the wiring of my setup.

Can someone look at my FTDI details and suggest a wiring diagram and test procedure?
