#52074 Error encountered when mounting SD

Posted by GPartain on 11 August 2013 - 12:00 AM in Netduino 2 (and Netduino 1)

I cannot get my netduino 1 to mount an SD card.

I get a System.IO exception when I call StorageDevice.MountSD("SD1", SPI_Devices.SPI1, Pins.GPIO_PIN_D10);

I am following the instructions at this example http://forums.netdui...sd-card-sample/

I have an SD card socket connected to my Netduino 1 as follows: D10 = SS, D11= MOSI, D12 = MISO, D13 = SCLK, 3.3 = VDD, Gnd = VSS.

The netduino firmare has been updated to v4.2.0.1. Using Micro Framework 4.2 SDK. Netduino 4.2.2 SDK.

I have attached a picture of the socket wiring.

These are the colors matched with the ports on the netduino:

13 = Gray

12 = White

11 = Yellow

10 = Blue

3.3 = Red

Gnd = Black

Also I have formatted two different cards to FAT16. One is 256mb the other is 1 GB. Cant read either of them. They work fine in my PC.

Any help is appreciated.
