Thanks for your reply. I am using Sam7x512 ek. My board has max232 . I am using a pc with serial db9 socket. Some reason. Out of 10 tried it might connect to Sam ba 2.12 once. I am keen to figure out why.

i made my own PCB based on Netduino plus 

I am using RS232 serial communication to upload firmware 

I run  SAM -BA 2.12 .

I use a jumper to erase and then reset 

It worked sometimes but after only many attempts

I checked PLLRC filter and all in order

 

Could someone please advise me what should I look for?

After uploading ER_flash and ER_Config 

When I ping I get   " Pinging... TinyBooter"

I can not deploy my firmware 

It get stuck on "Preparing to deploy assemblies to the device "  

 

 

I would appreciate any further advice

I successfully uploaded  TinyBooterDecompressor.bin  dated 19/9/2012 .

I am trying to upload ER_Flash hex file using MFdeploy 2.0 0 0 .

I am getting an error " Signature check fail Er_flash.sig " 

 

Can someone assist me please?

Following your advice, I noticed that the orientation of transformer on Magjack does not match exactly as on HX1198NL IC .  Could this cause the problem I have?

 

The DM9161 initialising because I get correct  register status.

 

The LEDs on my board seem to behave same as on kit I have

I have my project working successfully on Netduino plus kit 

I built my own PCB based on Netduino Plus schematics with exception of Magjack RJ45 which has built in transformer same as HX1198NL used in Netduino plus .

 

 

The problem I have is that I am getting an error Link between Magjack RJ45 and DM9161 - same setup and code works happily  with  Netduino plus kit 

 

I will be most grateful if someone can assist me

Could someone please advice me the bead coil value on Netduino plus kit ?  The bead is connected on DM9161 network circuit between AVDDR and AVDDR .

 

Is the resistance value of this bead critical ?

My PCB has same wiring as netduino plus kit except 2 wires bus, analog and mux . I am scratching my head why Netduino plus firmware tools work on my kit but not on my custom made PCB

Hello here

I have Mini and Netduino plus - both are working perfectly

I am trying now to use my own custom PCB based on Netduino plus schematics

I want to use serial and usb
I downloaded TinyBooterDecompressor.bin which I used for Mini Netduino.

After downloading TinyBooterDecompressor.bin successfully and downloading 2 files using MFDeploy , I can only manage to get serial working with MFDeploy but not USB .

I get error ' USB device not recognized"
Bellow the signature I have now
TinyBooter v4.2.0.0
NetduinoMini Build Date: Oct 16 2011 21:15:40
ARM Compiler version 410713

Can someone please assist me to get USB to work ?

Can someone please provide me with TinyBooterDecompressor.bin suitable for AT91sam7x512-AU .
I am using SAM-BA 2.12 and .Net Micro Firmware 4.2.0.0
For some unknown reason to me . I can upload successfully TinyBooterDecompressor.bin which I used for my Mini IC
I cannot upload TinyBooterDecompressor.bin which I used for Netduino plus kit to my other PCB with AT91SAM7x512

It seems to me that there are mistakes on Netduino plus schematics
