#41698 How do I grab particular google results with vb.net? to listbox

Posted by Glen on 17 December 2012 - 11:23 PM in General Discussion

Not vb specific, but you can restrict your google search to a particular site by including site:somesite.com in your search string.

Doing it via url, it would be something like this:
https://www.google.com/#hl=en&tbo=d&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=site:bk.com+burgers&oq=site:bk.com+burgers

#38747 Introducing Netduino Plus 2

Posted by Glen on 08 November 2012 - 03:32 PM in Netduino Plus 2 (and Netduino Plus 1)

Looks good. I may get one of these. Just a suggestion: Please have a link somewhere on the hardware page(http://www.netduino.com/hardware/) that you can use to navigate to the specs for the older product(s). I realize I can just remove the "2" in this link: http://netduino.com/...plus2/specs.htm, but it can be a real pain sometimes finding specs for legacy hardware. I'm not sure someone unfamiliar with the site would realize how to do it. I hope you will keep the information/specs online for legacy products.

#38681 STM32F4 Discovery Running .NET MF

Posted by Glen on 07 November 2012 - 06:18 PM in General Discussion

Thanks for those links. The first one just takes you to page 3 though which can change daily so that article isn't there anymore. I believe this is the direct HAD link: http://hackaday.com/...iscovery-board/ Lots of .netmf hate over there in the comments. Speaking of Hackaday and STM32 chips, there is a post up there today that was interesting. http://hackaday.com/...lcd-dev-boards/ How much different is a STM32F103 from a STM32F4? From what I could tell, it didn't seem to be too much. I don't have any experience doing it, but was curious how hard it would be to make that board functional.
