#11236 USB-TTL Cable for serial comm

Hi guys, This is a newb question so I apologize in advance, but I purchased the FTDI USB-TTL cable and I don't understand how to connect the cable to the Netduino. Both ends are female. Should I break off the 1x6 housing on the FTDI cable?
