#40271 Updating to 4.2, another paper weight

thanks for replying,
yes, sure there's a mismatch somewhere, that's why it does not work. I don't think the mismatch is in
my reading capabilities. The mismatch is in the documentation. It does not tell me in an orderly way what the problem is and what to do about it. On top of that I have to integrate it myself since it is scattered throughout scores of forum entries. I guess I'm pissed and it's late and I'm barking up the wrong tree, I can only hope that whoever is responsible will read this.
I'll try to be nice about it now, and I've already invested quite some time, so yes, suppose I'm being some sort of involuntary debugging/beta person now so here goes:
N+, bricked, nothing in it. Power LED and "LED" LED on permanently. Windows 7 32 bit version, SAM-BA v2.10 CDC, Micro Framework 4.1, SDK v4.1.0, Device Manager says "AT91 USB to Serial Converter (COM56)", and has nothing relevant in the USB "tree". When running SAM-BA it only provides COM1 in the dropdown. When changing that to COM56 it "fails to connect". And I'm even not sure I'm supposed to use SAM-BA at this point, it's not really a step by step forum entry. What do I do next?
Sorry for being rude. I know it's not your fault.
regards,
Peter
