#61230 Is there going to be an update?

Posted by theTroll on 13 January 2015 - 02:43 AM

Hi theTroll,

We'll be able to share more roadmap details a bit this month.

Chris

I will be holding you to that.  I will be checking on the 31st.

#61182 Is there going to be an update?

I have been waiting for over a year for the GO update that was always said to be just around the corner.  Is this update actually going to happen or should we move on to other micro-controllers for our projects?

#48051 NEW MODULE: DigIO

Posted by theTroll on 05 April 2013 - 01:31 AM

I got all excited about this when I first saw it.  But then I saw that it was 3.3v.  I was really hoping for a digital one that would do a least 5v.  The problem is that many of the things are build for a 5v digital instead of 3.3v.  The perfect one would accept 5v but still be triggered by 3.3v.

#47689 Current state of the Go

This is not meant to be an attack so don't take it that way.

How do you have something to sale that is based on something that doesn't exist?  Before you start to try to sale a product, shouldn't you be able to get all of the parts required for that product?

Now you have someone that is clamoring for something that doesn't acutally exist.  Also, even if you had the hub tomorrow, wouldn't you need to do some testing before you handed this product off?

I have been in this type of business for a long long time.  Just a suggestion, don't start advertising or offering your product until it is completely done and tested.  If you do, you will end up with a bad reputation and the sales you think you might have lost by waiting will be nothing compared to the sales you WILL loose by offering a product you can't deliver.

Note:  I am also not with Secret Labs and all views expressed are my own and do not reflect in anyway on Chris or Secret Labs.

#39179 4.2.1 with Nwazet DAQ and Touch Screen

Tested the 10MHz fix for the DAQ and Touch Pad. They work great now. Quick find Fabian, thanks. Thanks for everyone working to find the problems. Now I am going to see if I can make my thermometer work. tt.

I think that everyone puts a lot of their time and souls into these products. So when something doesn't work quiet right people get a little bit sensitive. These are their babies and they want them to do well. I have no doubt that the main goal is just to get this working as it should, but I think people should be careful when responding to these thread because these are not just chunks of electronics and bits of codes but countless hours of works and toil. So I am going to suggest everyone take a few deep breaths, remember that in the end we are all here to make this idea work and become the best system it can be. tt. P.S. Yeah, I make a fairly pathetic internet troll.
