I have just tested it with 24LC256 from Microchip. Thanks for providing the class, it saved me some time.Have you tested this with any more EEPROMs?
I am currently working on an update to this which cleans the class up a little more and adds a lot of documentation that I figured may be useful to anyone using it. I'll post it here when I'm done.

Unfortunately not, Netduino microcontroller (AT91SAM7X512) supports only Fast Mode speed (400 kHz). Fast Mode Plus is backward compatible with Fast Mode.
Great, thanks for your reply. Well, I don't need the extra speed for my current project, so it is great news that i2C is backward compatible.
Is there a certain way to tell the hardware that I want to use only the 400khz mode or is there some kind of "automatic detection"? Should this be in the specification of the IC (I haven't found it there).

Working on it... We have the desktop code done--and most of the code done for the .NET MF device....but we are working through the USB communication details.
Chris
Great news! I really hope to have USB communication with the .netduino- [= the one without ethernet/microSD] soon. Thanks for keeping us updated.
