Is there a way to get microsecond level timing from the netduino+?

Well, it seems that I am a bit over my head. I have a TiWi SL module from LS Research and I am trying to get it working on Netduino. I found some generic C drivers for it here.

Are there tutorials, or can someone guide me in getting this thing working on Netduino? I have also found a CC3000 Host Programming Guide, which, while informative, hasn't gotten me where I need to be.

Alternatively, is there a wireless G module that I should be using and haven't found? Wireless N would be better than that, even...
