Netduino Plus, installing new drivers and firmware

02 March 2013 - 06:25 PM

I was following the firmware update sticky and tried to update my Netduino Plus.  I applied the 3V3 on the gold erase pad, and power cycled the Netduino.  Now it doesn't appear in the MFDeploy application under the "USB" tab.  When I plug it in, Windows tries to assign it weird drivers such as "LEGO Mindstorms Update Mode" or "GPS Camera Detect".  I tried updating the drivers with both the drivers included in the Netduino SDK and the drivers Chris posted on the forums, but neither work.  Any ideas?

EDIT:  Before attempting to update, it was working fine.  Now, when I plug it in, these three LED's come on: PWR, LED, and ACT.

Netduino 'Device not recognized'

29 June 2012 - 10:37 PM

I probably seem like the stereotypical 'can't get it to work guy' but I don't really care because I was overjoyed when I received my Netduino Plus today and I can't get it to work. I plug it in via the USB, and it says "USB Device Not Recognized." I have similar luck with Device Manager. I tried to manually install the drivers but it says that the current driver (Unknown Device) is the best, and that no better drivers were found. In my C# environment, no device shows up in the list of USB devices. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, and just got the Netduino today, so the firmware is up to date. Anyone have any help?
