Posted by Juzzer on 02 August 2014 - 11:21 AM

If anyone is interested i managed to *cough* borrow a Nokia 930 with Cyan and quickly talk via BLE to NETMF

It's actually very simple..... (a bit like me  )

#59440 TinyBooter for Netduino Plus 2

Posted by Juzzer on 29 July 2014 - 06:44 PM

In normal operation boot0 and boot1 are pulled low.

To enter bootloader pull boot0 high.

Use DFU demo to load tinybooter.

Reset - use MFDepoly to load TinyClr

Job done - have a beer :)

Depends on what you are trying to do.

I am running on a STM32F401CEU6 and got a price of around £2.50 but MOQ is ~1500 as currently they are not stocked...

#56070 STM32F4 BGA

Posted by Juzzer on 14 February 2014 - 07:58 AM

I have a new part time job where i get to play with Altium, so as a side personal project i decided to try my hand at a STM BGA.

Typical uC BGA's used for NETMF usually have 0.8mm pitch balls but i am a fan of the STM32F4's and currently they only come in 0.65mm pitch and are UFBGA's

So i bit the bullet and selected a STM32F427IIH6 which has 176 balls + another 25 ground balls in the centre in a 10mm square. When you see it in the flesh, eek it's small.

So i didnt cause myself more sleepless nights i decided to only route out 17 pins, SPI,I2C, UART, PWM and Analog in a 1 inch square.

Got the boards routed using 4 layers, sent to fab and then waited....Got them back yesterday, populated one up and then with butterfly's in the stomach plugged it in.....

Happily running a version of Oberon's Mountaineer 4.3 port (massive thanks to Cuno and his team at Oberon)....

From the experience making a Netduino sized Mini with one of these STM's would be quite easy :)

#52699 Output options for multiple, seperate, chaser LED strips.

Posted by Juzzer on 11 September 2013 - 09:03 AM

Juzzer,

Thank you.   Quick question.  Could you possibly show(or explain) what the wires would look like using this, netduino, and two led strips?   Thank you so much, btw.

Here you go...

So all the strips share SCK (Pin13), MOSI (Pin 11), GND and +5v (I have only shown the Go Juice going into the bottom board)

Then each board has a digital pin for chip select (CS) and your away and laughing......

#52342 A Netduino, an iPhone and a Bluetooth Low Energy Module

Posted by Juzzer on 25 August 2013 - 01:19 PM

Nice work Mark,

It's a rainy day in North Herts so if you have a Windows 8.1 image i can send you the equivalent in C# using the new low energy API's...

Cheers

Justin

#52280 4.3 running on a STM32F427

Posted by Juzzer on 22 August 2013 - 10:44 AM

Hi all,

I have 4.3 running on a STM32F427 board which have an extra 64kb of ram and an extra 1mb of flash over the STM32F405

It should be relatively easy to create a Netduino / Go board with the 427....
