I used this lib as part of a simple home monitoring system see the other post. Its using the radio device to do many to 1 half duplex transmissions.

I decided on using the Nordic nrf24l01P for a number of reasons

• Cost, the radio modules can be purchased for less than a euro most other RF is multiples of this price
• Space, other options use up a lot of board space
• Protocol, the device has a more functional protocol than some of the other ISM band radio's available
• Power the power consumption is low

One of the down sides is the 2.4 GHz carrier which attenuates more than ISM band frequencies indoors and in wet weather. But for the distances I am operating at ts not an issue.
