The strange thing is that the board also does not act as expected when powering while pressing the button. As I read it should not load the flashed program, however this does not prevent the board from blocking. That is the strange part, it is logical that the board can block due to a programming failure.

I also ran into this problem a few times ... Had to flash the board a couple of times (for the Netduino Plus) and only one till now for the Netduino Plus 2. But it is strange that a programming error can make the board completely unresponsive.

thats bad, when that happens often your queue will eat up all your memory and it will throw an out of mem exception.

the best way of doing all your stuff is just read the raw data in yor handler, and than process it in a thread your your main loop.

That's exactly what the queue does ...
