About Me

teve is a fourteen year software development veteran residing in Orange County, CA and four time Microsoft MVP Award recipient for Visual Studio ALM. Steve has world-class experience architecting and developing web-based line-of-business applications, dataflow and job flow automations, and enabling business process integration for both international software companies and small businesses.

Steve is Microsoft and IBM certified and is very active in the developer community having led sessions at over 120 events across North America on Microsoft developer technologies. Steve has served on the board of several industry groups including the International .NET Developers Association. Steve also runs GeekGive, an ad-hoc charity group that organizes non-technical volunteer opportunities at large Microsoft conferences.

When not developing software solutions or engaging with the software development community, Steve is a closet singer and songwriter and plays the guitar and keys. He also enjoys getting outdoors to skydive, SCUBA dive, kayak, mountain bike, and hike. Occasionally, he even gets to sleep. Occasionally.

I am unclear as to what exactly you are trying to accomplish, but there are quite a number of tutorials for controlling an LED from a Netduino. For starters, check out the two How To's listed here:

As far as I know there are no emulators available. You can, however, buy a physical emulator for around $59. ;-)

You can also install Visual Studio Express, the .NET Micro Framework SDK, and the Netduino SDK, all for free, to get a feel for working in the code. But you won't be able to actually run anything without the hardware.
